Sunrise over Lake Michigan is just one of the exciting sites to see in Algoma.
Historical commercial fishing shanties are a rich part of Algoma's heritage.
Algoma's lighthouse, solid cherry red in color and set on rock, is known as one of the most photographed lighthouses in the mid-west. Local photography studios and many gift shops sell photos, water and land scenes and paintings depicting this popular landmark in all seasons.
Commercial fishing isn't easily stopped by Algoma's winters. And the views just keep on coming.
