Annual Arts & Crafts Show
August
9 & 10, 2008
We take great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the arts and crafts show of Algoma's annual "Shanty Days" Festival-a Celebration of Lake Michigan and the people who derive their livelihood from it.
Festival events also include northeast Wisconsin's longest parade, a variety of food stands (ethnic foods), live music, children's activities, a photography contest, fireworks, and much more on the waterfront. There also will be live music and kid's activities "On the Green" in the center of the show.

Location:
Library, City Hall and school lawns on corner of 4th
(highway 42) and Fremont Streets.
Dates:
Saturday, August 9 and Sunday August 10, 2008
Times:
Saturday, 10am-6pm Sunday, 10am-4pm
Exhibit
Requirements: Your own original fine arts and crafts
work only. All signs must be artistically and/or neatly lettered.
Exhibitors must supply their own display equipment. Exhibit size
is 12’X12’.
Suggestions:
Demonstrations of your artwork are a great draw and are highly encouraged.
Also, lake and harbor themes would be extra appropriate for this
show.
Entry Fee
& Requirements: $80.00 (non refundable) to be enclosed
with registration form, as will as a legal size, self addressed,
stamped envelope and slides or photos of your work. Instructions
will be sent to each accepted registrant. Slides/photos will be
sent back.

Chamber of Commerce" (no postdated checks) (C) legal size,
self addressed, stamped envelope and (D)slides or photos of each
type of work to be shown (all entrants) to: Algoma Shanty Days,

Deadline:
June 30th or until full to ensure consideration for acceptance.
Entries for the arts & craft show will be accepted on a first come,
first served basis. January deadline to reserve same space as this
year.
